Update 25 July 2008

First of all, I must apologize to all who is reading my blog as I have not been updating it since 1 month ago....

Updates:

1) Modified my exhaust to be swappable between the S-flow and the HKS. Currently I am using S-flow as the JPJ is working very hard nowdays.

2) Changed my suspension as I have ditched the leaking JIC and get a new set Local Cheap stuff "HIT HA Kit" with spring rate 8kg front and 5 kg back. It is quite ok for the price paid... no complaint, but is pocket permits i would get a Mugen/Spoon/Tein (or some where RM4k kits fully adjustable High low/Soft Hard kit... )








3) Changed front left lower arm bushing... already cracked.








4) Changed engine oil to test out the BP 6000 semi-synthetic... So far is ok for me.








5) Changed my lug nuts to sport rim compatible. (The bigger one is good)








Tomorrow i will be Joining HCOC as offical member :). See you guys there!

Update 8 June 2008.

My ride updated.

Target Mods....

1) Re-install the HKS muffler althou it is loud but when the VTEC kicks in.... Fun Fun Fun but also Petrol Petrol Petrol --> $$$$$$ :P

2) Install a better suspension... this time i will buy my own and make sure it is new (with 1 year warranty). No more 2nd hand stuff :)

(Think about it.. When can you have so much fun.. while the petrol is still subsidized go ahead :P. Not sure when we will have Malaysia petrol = USA petrol). I do wonder where is our Billions of ringgit Petronas profit goes to?

A True Story of Trusting a new Friend

Simple word of wisdom having friend is important. However if money is involved; there is reason to be caution. Trust with caution especially if there is any link to $$ of you may lose a friend quite easily thru misunderstanding or miscommunication. :P.

Project SR4 Update 8April2008

Driving near 70kmh without windscreen is NOT fun especially you start to see rain clouds forming :P. Finally I manage to get my ride to install the windscreens, carpet, seat....

I took the opportunity to add SIKA sound damping to the roof, now the cabin noise noticely is much lower compared to before. (Good stuff and comparable to the relatively more expensive Dynamat). Next update will be on requied accesories.

Project SR4 Update 4April2008

Due to unforseen circumstances, the car is not ready for collection yet as the worker who is supposed to assemble the car took early leave due to emergency. So i have to postpone the plan today and cancel the leave. It is ok for me cuz there is an issue at work which i know i needed to be there, so off to work for me today :).

Project SR4 Update 1April08

The engine bay has been painted, i would say quite neat as they did not remove the engine but able to paint most metal of the areas properly. Top coat Glasurit has been applied check out the shine :) NOTE: This is the effect BEFORE polish. I will update after polish effect too :).

Note: I can see my self in the bumper reflection. Checkout the rain water flow area (between windshield and engine), it is fully painted, this is Quality workmanship.
